Townsend Bell, Indianapolis It was an eventful Saturday in Indianapolis as twenty-two drivers qualified for the 92nd Running of the Indianapolis 500, tentatively filling the final starting grid positions of 12 through 33. The first 11 positions were determined on May 10 when Scott Dixon won the pole with an average speed of 226.366 mph, while the second 11 grid positions were supposed to be filled last weekend, but the session was postponed due to weather, leading to today's double session.
